Unlike most websites found in a Google or Internet search, resources in GALILEO are age-appropriate, credible, and authoritative. It provides content-rich nonfiction, text complexity tools, and a robust collection of informational texts to engage students and help them become career- and college-ready.

- We offer access to GLASS (Georgia Libraries for Accessible Services). GLASS supports accessible library services in Georgia by promoting the use of assistive technology and by providing accessible reading materials to those who, due to a disability, are unable to read standard print.
The Forsyth City Library was organized in August 1922 with the aid of the Forsyth Woman’s Club. The name was changed to Monroe County Library, and the library was moved to the larger facilities on West Main Street on September 7, 1937.
Affiliation with the Flint River Regional Library began in 1964. In 1981 the present facility was expanded to approximately 10,000 square feet with capacity of 44,000 volumes.
