A number of Monroe County office buildings are closed to the public today (Monday, July 29) as a result of this morning’s city water outage.
Buildings that are closed include: Administration Building, Courthouse, Senior Center, Head Start, Extension Office, Workforce Development, Health Department, Water Department, Animal Services, and the Library. Employees in these offices will be working from home until the issue is resolved.
Monroe County’s first responders remain on duty, as always, to assist citizens in case of emergency.
We will let you know when these offices will be able to be re-opened.
