A contractor has inadvertently damaged a water main on Talmadge Road, which has caused water service to be interrupted on Talmadge Road and Boxankle Road (from its intersection with Talmadge Road to about two miles to the south).
Water service will hopefully be restored to affected homes by the end of the business day, but residents will have to boil water for the next several days once service has resumed.
