Due to continued dangerous road conditions, all Monroe County offices except for Public Safety will remain closed on Thursday, Jan. 23.
All county offices are expected to re-open under a normal schedule on Friday, Jan. 24.
Also, the Monroe County Board of Commissioners’ regular meeting that was scheduled for tomorrow morning (9 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23) has been postponed indefinitely.
Thursday’s meeting was supposed to be preceded by a Board of Commissioners’ workshop at 8 a.m. concerning House Bill 581 and followed at 10 a.m. by a public hearing regarding House Bill 581.
Both the workshop and the public hearing will be postponed to a yet-to-be-determined future date.
