Lamarcus Davis was officially sworn into office for a second term as District 1 Monroe County Commissioner this morning (Monday, Dec. 30) in the Monroe County Courthouse.
Monroe County Probate Judge Donna Robins administered the oath of office while Davis’ oldest son, Jamai Davis, held the Bible for his father.
Davis was joined at the swearing-in ceremony by his wife Angel Davis, sons Jamai, Jaise, and Jaxton, mother Barbara Davis, and mother-in-law Carol Lucear.
Davis’ second four-year term in office will begin on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025.
