New District 4 Monroe County Commissioner Al Turner was sworn into office at the beginning of this morning’s (Tuesday, Dec. 17) Board of Commissioners meeting in front of several dozen friends and family members at the Monroe County Conference Center.
Monroe County Probate Judge Donna Robins administered the oath of office to Commissioner Turner, who will serve the final two years of the existing term of former District 4 Commissioner George Emami. Turner received the most votes in a five-man field to replace Emami.
