Monroe County is currently repairing a broken water main on Blount Road, which has caused water service to be interrupted on Blount Road from just north of its intersection with Timberline Drive and Big Buck Trail to as far south as its intersection with Towaliga South Road as well as to all Monroe County water system customers on Timberline Drive, Big Buck Trail, Towaliga South Road, Riverview Road, Riverbend Road, and Hillcrest Lane.
Once water service has been restored, residents will have to boil water for the next several days out of precaution.
