Water service has been restored to homes on Blount Road, Timberline Drive, Big Buck Trail, Riverview Road, Riverbend Road, Towaliga South Road and Hillcrest Lane.
However, out of an abundance of caution, a Boil Water Advisory has been issued to all Monroe County water system customers who live on Blount Road (from just north of its intersection with Timberline Drive and Big Buck Trail to its intersection with Towaliga South Road) as well as all Monroe County water system customers who live on Timberline Drive, Big Buck Trail, Riverview Road, Riverbend Road, Towaliga South Road, and Hillcrest Lane.
In order to protect the public from a potential health hazard, customers who have experienced water outages and/or low water pressure are advised to use only boiled tap water or bottled tap water for drinking, cooking, or preparing food.
