The Middle Georgia Regional Commission (MGRC) will hold a community meeting at 3 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22 in the Monroe County Commissioners’ meeting room on the third floor of the county administration building at 38 West Main St.
The purpose of the meeting is to update the Regional Plan, which, according to MGRC Director of Planning and Public Administration Greg Boike, is a five-yaer plan (spanning 2024-29) that identifies regional issues and opportunities, develops goals and objectives, informs work items at a regional level, and comments about land use.
This meeting is open to members of the general public and community stakeholders.
