Water service is currently being restored to homes on Talmadge Road and Boxankle Road.
However, out of an abundance of caution, a Boil Water Advisory has been issued for all Monroe County water system customers who live on Talmadge Road or Boxankle Road (from its intersection with Talmadge Road to as far south as 3717 Boxankle Road).
In order to protect the public from a potential health hazard, customers who have experienced water outages and/or low water pressure are advised to use only boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking, cooking, or preparing food.
Due to the time it takes to send and receive samples from the lab, the Boil Water Advisory will be in place until at least Saturday afternoon (April 1). We will let you know when the Advisory has been lifted.
