County Announces Office Schedules for Shelter In Place Period

Citizens will continue to have access to the county recycling center locations and landfill during the state’s 10-day shelter in place period beginning tomorrow (Friday, April 3).

However, citizens are asked to continue practicing social distancing and attempt to limit their number of visits to the centers out of respect for the attendants, many of whom are up in age and more vulnerable to the COVID-19 virus.

The recycling centers will continue to be open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. The landfill will continue to be open 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (cell area closes at 4 p.m.) Monday through Thursday, 7:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. (cell area closes at 3 p.m.) Friday and 7 a.m. to noon (cell area closes at 11 a.m.) Saturday.
